Informazioni sul prodotto
Zylofuramine is a naturally occurring pyridinium amide that has been found in the fruit extract of Ziziphus jujuba. It has been shown to have cytostatic and immunosuppressive properties, as well as a psychostimulant effect on animals. In addition, zylofuramine may be used in the treatment of lymphoproliferative disorders, such as leukaemia and myeloma. Zylofuramine is also an anti-epileptic drug with a stabilizing effect on nerve cells. The effects of zylofuramine are mediated by 5-HT2C receptors. Zylofuramine can be reconstituted into an injectable solution for intravenous use or intramuscular injection.
