Bromoacetamido-dPEG®23-Azide is a spacer molecule that can be used in peptide synthesis. It is a building block that contains an acetamide group and a dPEG®23-azide moiety. This material is supplied as a 99% pure, white solid and can be used in click chemistry reactions. Bromoacetamido-dPEG®23-Azide has been shown to react with amines, hydrazides, thiols, and maleimides in the presence of Cu(I) salts to form stable amide bonds. This building block has also been shown to react with amino acid derivatives such as N-benzoylglycine and N-pivaloylglycine.
