Descrizione

Desacetylcinobufagin is a natural product that is used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of human tumor cells and induce apoptosis by inhibiting protein synthesis, which leads to cell death. Desacetylcinobufagin also inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and TNF-α by downregulating the expression of NF-κB, thereby reducing inflammation. Desacetylcinobufagin has been shown to be effective at preventing the development of tumors in both mice and rats. This compound has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis.
