Informazioni sul prodotto
- 9H-Purin-6-amine, 9-(2-propenyl)-
9-(Prop-2-en-1-yl)-9H-purin-6-amine is a synthetic compound that has been shown to enhance the activity of water molecules. This enhancement is due to the ability of 9-(Prop-2-en-1-yl)-9H-purin-6-amine to bind with chloride ions, which are needed for chlorine dioxide formation. The rate of reaction is enhanced by the addition of this molecule because it is an analog of the substrate pNP. This analogously allows for a chloride ion to be replaced with a water molecule in the rate equation. 9-(Prop-2-en-1-yl)-9H-purin-6--amine may also function as an analytical chemistry reagent due to its ability to react with pNP and form a light sensitive product.
