Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Amino-4-methoxybenzene-1-thiol hydrochloride is a medicinal compound that has been used in the treatment of hypertension. It blocks the activity of α adrenergic receptors and is a nonselective agonist. The sulfone group on the 2-amino-4-methoxybenzene ring is responsible for GABA receptor binding, which may be responsible for its antihypertensive effects. 2-Amino-4 methoxybenzene 1 thiol hydrochloride also binds to benzodiazepine receptors, which may account for its sedative and anxiolytic properties. This drug also has an affinity for the serotonin receptor, which may be related to its antidepressant effects.
