Descrizione:
3-Pyridin-3-yl-benzoic acid is a nitrate salt that has been found to have magnetic properties. The crystal x-ray diffraction data obtained from single-crystal x-ray diffraction studies show the existence of two isomers, the one with a formamide ligand and the other without it. 3-Pyridin-3-yl-benzoic acid has been used as a ligand for lanthanide ions in coordination chemistry. It was shown to be fluorescent in n-dimethylformamide.
