Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Furanpropanol, tetrahydro-alpha-methyl-
4-(Tetrahydro-furan-2-yl)-butan-2-ol (4THFB) is a tetrahydrofuran derivative that is synthesized by the condensation of furanic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. It has been shown to activate the hydrotalcite catalyst in a flow system, leading to the formation of hydrogenated products. The activation energy for this reaction was found to be 73 kJ/mol. 4THFB is also an intermediate in the production of 2,5-furandione, which is used in the synthesis of other chemicals with high commercial value. 4THFB has been shown to have nucleophilic properties and can react with nucleophile such as water or ammonia. This product has not been shown to have any interactions with other materials, but it does show some reaction with oxygen.
