Informazioni sul prodotto
- Propanoic Acid, 2-(1-Methylethoxy)-
2-Isopropoxypropanoic acid (2IP) is a monoxide that has been shown to exhibit hydroxylic and cyclic properties. It has been found to have a molecular mechanism in which elimination of the electron takes place, followed by the transition of the resulting cation to a five-membered ring. The gas phase reaction mechanism for 2IP is an intramolecular hydrogen transfer process, which leads to acetaldehyde. This particular reaction mechanism occurs in a vessel with an external pressure of 0.1 torr and at a temperature of 573 K.
