3-Amino-2,2,4,4-tetramethylthietane is an organic compound that is found in the nitrate group. It is a colorless liquid that is soluble in water and most organic solvents. It also catalyzes the activation of vinyl ethers by leuckart's catalyst to produce vinyl sulfonates. 3-Amino-2,2,4,4-tetramethylthietane can be synthesized from thiourea and nitric acid.
