Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5-Amino-2-Pyrazinecarboxylic Acid
5-Amino-2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid (APC) is a chemical compound that has been shown to have antimicrobial resistance. It was found to be effective against tuberculosis and mycobacterial infections in laboratory studies, as well as inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium complex cells. APC inhibits bacterial cell division by binding to the DnaA protein and blocking DNA replication. It also has been shown to inhibit hepg2 cells, which are a type of human hepatoma cell line. These effects have been evaluated in vitro using cytotoxicity assays.
