Informazioni sul prodotto
N-(4-Acetylphenyl)-4-chlorobenzamide is a soluble epoxide that has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme epoxide hydrolase. This inhibition leads to an accumulation of biologically active and toxic metabolites of arachidonic acid, such as prostaglandins, thromboxanes, and leukotrienes. N-(4-Acetylphenyl)-4-chlorobenzamide has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in animals by inhibiting the production of these metabolites. It also has been used as an inhibitor in organic synthesis and as a reagent for copper catalyzed reactions.
