N-(2-Amino-4-ethoxyphenyl)acetamide is a pyrimidine derivative that has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. It has been shown to have analgesic activity in rats, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cyclopropylamine and furfuryl metabolism. This drug also inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are inflammatory mediators. The analgesic activity of N-(2-Amino-4-ethoxyphenyl)acetamide is similar to that of acetaminophen, but it does not cause liver damage or stomach irritation.
