2-Amino benzoxazole is an heterocyclic substance with amine groups. It has potent antibacterial activity and can be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. 2-Amino benzoxazole is synthesized by the reaction of aldehyde groups with phenyl groups. The reaction yield is increased by the addition of amines to increase the reactivity, which leads to a high conversion rate. 2-Amino benzoxazole has been shown to be orally bioavailable, meaning that it can be absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract, and rapidly cleared from plasma in mice. This compound has also been found to have an effect on pharmacokinetics studies due to its low molecular weight.
