Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzonitrile, 2-Amino-4-Methoxy-
2-Amino-4-methoxybenzonitrile is a heterocyclic organic compound. It is a synthetic building block for the synthesis of pyridines and quinolones. 2-Amino-4-methoxybenzonitrile can be synthesized by condensation of methylmagnesium chloride with nitroethane in the presence of palladium acetate. The x-ray crystallography data show that this product has a trimeric structure, which is different from the monomeric form. This difference may be due to the presence of three methyl groups on the benzene ring. The crystallographic data also support the idea that 2-amino-4-methoxybenzonitrile is an analogue of diazocine, an important precursor for pharmaceuticals and dyes.
