- Benzonitrile, 2-amino-6-bromo-
2-Amino-6-bromobenzonitrile is a monomer that belongs to the class of checkpoint inhibitors. It has been evaluated as a potential pd-L1 inhibitor for the treatment of cancer. 2-Amino-6-bromobenzonitrile binds to PDL1, which inhibits the binding of PD1 to its ligands and blocks T cell activation, leading to cancer cell death. The molecular docking studies showed that 2-Amino-6-bromobenzonitrile binds with high affinity to PDL1 in the presence of ATP. This study also found that 2-Amino-6-bromobenzonitrile could inhibit tumor growth by blocking T cells from entering the brain tissue where they would normally activate cancer cells.
2-Amino-6-bromobenzonitrile can be injected into the blood stream or directly into brain tissue. Injected 2 amino
