6-(2-Amino-5-benzoxazolyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl]-4-morpholinylmethanone is a reversibly secretase inhibitor that binds to the catalytic site of the enzyme, preventing it from cleaving certain proteins in the brain. It is used for the treatment of various autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. 6-(2-Amino-5-benzoxazolyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl]-4-morpholinylmethanone has been shown to be effective in treating cancerous cells and can be used as a diagnostic agent. This molecule also has a variety of other therapeutic uses including its ability to inhibit inflammation by inhibiting NFκB activation.
