Informazioni sul prodotto
- Tricyclo[3.3.1.1~3,7~]Decane-1-Carbohydrazide
Adamantane-1-carbohydrazide is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that inhibits the synthesis of protein and nucleic acids. It is metabolized by oxidation, reduction, and hydrolysis to form a variety of metabolites with different chemical structures. In vitro studies have shown that adamantane-1-carbohydrazide inhibits the growth of influenza virus in cell culture and has potent antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria. Adamantane-1-carbohydrazide also has been found to inhibit the production of insulin resistance in animal models. The mechanism for this inhibition is not yet known, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit chloride channels or hydrogen bonding.
