Descrizione:
Acetaldehyde benzyl ethylacetal is a reaction product of acetaldehyde and benzyl alcohol. It is a colorless liquid with a strong, aromatic smell. Acetaldehyde benzyl ethylacetal can be used as an antibacterial agent or as a flavorant for food and beverages. It has shown activity against gram-positive bacteria (including MRSA) and fungi, but not against gram-negative bacteria. The reaction rate is determined by the concentration of the reactants, the pH, and the neutralizing agent.
