Descrizione:
5-Amino-4-cyano-2-methyl-furan-3-carboxylic acid ethylester (5ACMC) is an amide that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to be active against pancreatic cancer cell lines and cancer cells from human patients. 5ACMC also inhibits lipid kinase activity and Pi3K, which are proteins involved in the formation of new blood vessels. 5ACMC has anti oncogenic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by binding to the active site of lipids kinase proteins.
