Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzonitrile, 2-Amino-4-Bromo-
2-Amino-4-bromobenzonitrile is a receptor binding drug that belongs to the class of atypical antipsychotics. It has been shown to have antagonist effects on the 5-ht1a receptor, which is involved in mood regulation. 2-Amino-4-bromobenzonitrile has also been shown to have affinity for the D2 receptor and may be used as an adjunct therapy for schizophrenia. This drug has also been shown to be effective against cyclic vomiting syndrome, but not other types of nausea or vomiting. 2-Amino-4-bromobenzonitrile binds to cyclic AMP response elements on DNA and alters gene expression. This modification leads to an increase in serotonin release from serotonergic neurons and increased dopamine levels in the nucleus accumbens.
