Informazioni sul prodotto
4-(Aminomethyl)phenylboronic acid (4-ABA) is an inhibitor of the enzyme creatine kinase. It is a potent inhibitor of inflammatory diseases and has been shown to be effective in treating autoimmune diseases and cancer. 4-ABA binds to the copper complex of the enzyme, inhibiting ATP synthesis by phosphorylation of ADP. This inhibition leads to cell death through hypoxic tumor growth or other mechanisms. 4-ABA also has a potent inhibitory activity against human creatinine kinase, which may be due to its ability to form a stable electrochemical complex with nucleophilic sites on the enzyme.
