Descrizione

Anisindione is a drug that is used in the diagnosis of bowel disease and myeloma. It is also used as an anticoagulant to prevent blood clots in the heart, brain, or other organs. Anisindione has been shown to have water permeability, which is related to its ability to transport water-insoluble compounds across cell membranes. This drug may also be used for chronic oral administration and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Anisindione can cause interactions with other drugs such as coumarin derivatives and radiation therapy. It also inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the amino acid histidine, which prevents the formation of proteins from specific genes.
