2-Aminomalonic acid dimethyl ester hydrochloride is an aliphatic hydrocarbon that has a pyrazole ring in its structure. It is used as a pharmaceutical preparation with antineurotransmitter and anti-inflammatory properties. 2-Aminomalonic acid dimethyl ester hydrochloride interacts with malonic acid to form the pyrazolylmalonic acid, which inhibits tnf-α and other proinflammatory cytokines by inhibiting their synthesis. This drug also has inhibitory properties on toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and other TLRs, which are proteins that mediate the inflammatory response. 2-Aminomalonic acid dimethyl ester hydrochloride is degradable by enzymatic activity and is resistant to breakdown by reactive oxygen species.
