Informazioni sul prodotto
- 3-Amino-2-Piperidinone Hydrochloride
3-Amino-2-piperidinone hydrochloride is a transacylase inhibitor that is used as an antibiotic. It has been studied in clinical trials for the treatment of tuberculosis and bacterial infections, but it is not currently approved for use in humans. 3-Amino-2-piperidinone hydrochloride inhibits protein synthesis by blocking the formation of transacylases, which are enzymes that catalyze the transfer of amino acids from one acyl carrier protein to another. This drug may be useful for the treatment of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other bacterial infections. 3-Amino-2-piperidinone hydrochloride inhibits the biosynthesis of fatty acids and can also act as a congener acceptor in some biological processes.
