Acid Red 97 is a polymer film that is used in wastewater treatment. It is a matrix for the mineralization of molecules and has been shown to be effective in the removal of organic materials, such as phenols and amines. Acid Red 97 has also been shown to have an effect on brain cells, which can lead to neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease.
