Informazioni sul prodotto
- (2-Mercaptoethyl)trimethylammonium chloride acetate[2-(Acetylthio)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride
Acetylthiocholine chloride is a highly potent acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It binds to the active site of acetylcholinesterase and prevents the breakdown of acetylcholine, which is vital for nerve impulse transmission. Acetylthiocholine chloride has been shown to be effective against a wide range of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter cloacae, and Salmonella typhi. The enzyme activity can be detected using an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique. Acetylthiocholine chloride also inhibits 2-aminoterephthalic acid production in biosensors by interfering with the transfer reactions.
