Informazioni sul prodotto
- benzamide, 4-methyl-N-(phenylmethyl)-
N-Benzyl-4-methylbenzamide is an organic compound that can be synthesized from benzyl chloride and 4-methylbenzoic acid. It has been used as a palladium catalyst in the cross-coupling reaction between nitriles and diboron reagents, yielding high yields of benzylic products. The presence of halides or halogenated compounds in this reaction leads to the formation of functionalities such as vinyl, acetate, and carboxylic acids.
N-Benzyl-4-methylbenzamide also has been used for the synthesis of nitriles from halides or halogenated compounds. This reaction is catalyzed by palladium, forming a cross-coupling reaction.
