Informazioni sul prodotto
2-Phenylcyclopropanecarbonyl chloride (PCCl) is a molecule that belongs to the class of esters, lithiated, halides and carboxylic acids. It is used in medicinal chemistry as an intermediate for the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals. PCCl has been shown to have therapeutic potential in the treatment of amnesia induced by scopolamine and chlorpromazine. PCCl binds to endopeptidase and cyclopropyl ring, which are enzymes responsible for the degradation of proteins. The binding inhibits protein degradation and prevents the formation of amnesia-inducing acetaldehyde.
