1-[2-[Bis[4-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methoxy]ethyl]-5,6-dihydro-2H-pyridine-3-carboxylic acid is a drug that has been shown to have a modulating effect on the acetylcholine receptor. It also inhibits the uptake of GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that is involved in regulating muscle tone and activity levels. 1-[2-[Bis[4-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methoxy]ethyl]-5,6-dihydro-2H-pyridine-3-carboxylic acid is used to treat diseases in the nervous system such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
