Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1H-Indazole, 5-bromo-6-fluoro-
5-bromo-6-fluoro-1H-indazole (5BI) is a fluorescent molecule that binds to the bacterial cell membrane and causes permeabilization. 5BI can be used for the detection of live and dead bacteria by microscopy, cytometry, and flow cytometry. It also has been shown to bind to human cells, but not to mammalian cells, which makes it an excellent tool for staining human cells with fluorescence microscopy. 5BI is a synthetic compound that is not found in nature. It has no known toxicity or carcinogenicity, making it useful as a fluorescent probe for live and dead bacteria in both animal models and humans.
