Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzothiophene-3-carboxylic acid
1-Benzothiophene-3-carboxylic acid is a heterobicyclic compound that has been shown to have antinociceptive and immunomodulatory effects in animal models. 1-Benzothiophene-3-carboxylic acid interacts with cell receptors and is a molecular target for autoimmune diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, and opportunistic infections. It has been shown to inhibit the production of chemokines that are involved in inflammatory responses. It can also inhibit the chloride channels in neurons, which may contribute to its antimuscarinic effects. The molecule has been shown to interact with butyric acid, an important component of the gut flora. 1-Benzothiophene-3-carboxylic acid inhibits the growth of infectious bacteria such as Clostridium difficile and Mycoplasma pneumoniae. It also shows structural similarities to drugs used against leishmaniasis and malaria.
