Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1H-indole-3-carboxaldehyde, 5-bromo-1-methyl-
5-Bromo-1-methyl-1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde is a cytotoxic agent that induces the apoptosis of cancer cells. It has been shown to be cytotoxic against ovarian cancer cell lines and glioblastoma cells and to induce cell apoptosis in these cancer cells. 5BMIC has been shown to bind with annexin and cause the release of cytochrome C from mitochondria, leading to the activation of caspase 3, which is an important step in the process of apoptosis. 5BMIC also binds with cyclin D1, which prevents it from binding with CDK4/6, inhibiting its ability to stimulate DNA synthesis.
