- 6-Bromo-3-Pyridazinamine
6-Bromopyridazin-3-amine is a reactive chemical that can be used as a precursor for the synthesis of potential drugs. It has been shown to have neuroprotective properties and may be an effective treatment for Parkinson's disease. 6-Bromopyridazin-3-amine reacts with acetate in the presence of sodium azide to form 5,6-dibromopyridine-2,3-diamine, which is then hydrolyzed to form 6,7-dibromoquinoxaline. The reaction yield is high and the process does not require heating or vacuum.
