Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Pyrimidinamine, 5-Bromo-6-Chloro-
- 4-Amino-5-bromo-6-chloropyrimidine
5-Bromo-6-chloropyrimidin-4-amine is a cellular analog that was synthesized in order to study the effects of carboxamide on tumor growth. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on human cancer cells, with a dose-dependent response. 5-Bromo-6-chloropyrimidin-4-amine binds to DNA and inhibits carboxypeptidase A, which is involved in protein biosynthesis. This analog also interacts with the enzyme carboxypeptidase B, which catalyzes the formation of amino acids from amino acid precursors. 5-Bromo-6-chloropyrimidin-4-amine has been shown to inhibit tumor growth through inhibition of these enzymes.
