Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-Bromo-2,3-Dimethylpyridine 1-Oxide
- Pyridine, 4-bromo-2,3-dimethyl-
4-Bromo-2,3-dimethylpyridine is an organic compound that belongs to the pyridine family. It has been used in the synthesis of anti-inflammatory drugs and as a research chemical. 4-Bromo-2,3-dimethylpyridine is a cytochrome P450 inhibitor, which means it blocks the action of this enzyme. Cytochrome P450 enzymes are involved in the production of hormones and other substances in the body. 4-Bromo-2,3-dimethylpyridine inhibits the production of these substances by binding to cytochrome P450 and preventing their activation. 4-Bromo-2,3-dimethylpyridine also inhibits arylalkyl and acetylenes that are involved in the production of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. This inhibition leads to an antiinflammatory effect on cells in culture.
