Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5-Bromo-2-Phenyl-1,3-Oxazole
5-Bromo-2-phenyloxazole is a muscarinic M1 receptor antagonist. It blocks the binding of acetylcholine to the M1 receptor and prevents activation of the M1 receptor. 5-Bromo-2-phenyloxazole has been shown to inhibit the binding of acetylcholine to the M1 receptor in rat and human lung tissue, as well as to block the effects of acetylcholine on heart rate and contractility in isolated rabbit and rat atria. This compound also inhibits the binding of muscarinic agonists such as carbachol to their receptors, while having no effect on the binding of non-muscarinic antagonists such as pirenzepine.
