Informazioni sul prodotto
Benzyl 1-methylhydrazinecarboxylate is the benzyl ester of methylhydrazinecarboxylic acid. It is a white crystalline solid that is soluble in chloroform, acetone, and methanol but insoluble in water. This compound has been shown to inhibit the activity of elastase, an enzyme that breaks down elastin. Benzyl 1-methylhydrazinecarboxylate inhibits pancreatic enzyme activity by forming covalent bonds with amino acid residues on the active site of these enzymes. The high yield and relative ease of synthesis make this compound a promising inhibitor for the production of pharmaceuticals or other products that require proteolytic enzymes.
