Descrizione:
1-Bromo-2-chloro-3-methylbenzene is a planar aromatic compound with substituents on the benzene ring. It is an isomer of 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoic acid and can be synthesized by reacting magnesium with chloromethylbenzene. 1-Bromo-2-chloro-3-methylbenzene has been used in the synthesis of organic compounds such as benzoquinones and benzaldehydes. Grignard reagents are prepared from this compound.
