Informazioni sul prodotto
4-Bromo-2-(1-methylethyl)phenol is a thiazolidinedione that is used as an alkylating agent and radical cyclization agent. It has been shown to function as a homeostatic regulator by balancing the levels of thyroid hormones. 4-Bromo-2-(1-methylethyl)phenol binds to the thyroid receptor and blocks the binding site for triiodothyronine, which prevents its activation. 4-Bromo-2-(1-methylethyl)phenol also exhibits antagonistic activities against some other hormones such as progesterone, testosterone, and estrogen.
