Informazioni sul prodotto
- Naphthalene, 2-bromo-3-iodo-
2-Bromo-3-iodonaphthalene is an aliphatic hydrocarbon that belongs to the group of naphthalenes. It is a reaction product of 2-bromo-1,3,5-trimethylbenzene and iodine. 2-Bromo-3-iodonaphthalene has been shown to have hypolipidemic effects in rats by lowering blood glucose levels, as well as reducing cholesterol and triglycerides. This compound is also an attractant for insects such as flies, moths, and beetles. 2-Bromo-3-iodonaphthalene's deodorizing properties may be due to its ability to react with other molecules to form odoriferous compounds.
