Rac-BINAP
Descrizione:
Rac-BINAP is a bidentate ligand that is used in the catalytic hydrogenation of β-unsaturated aldehydes and amines. Rac-BINAP is also used for the efficient synthesis of anilines from primary alcohols with phosphane as a catalyst and acid as a base. Rac-BINAP has been shown to be selective for mononuclear, aromatic compounds. It has been shown to undergo allylation reactions with halides. Rac-BINAP can be used as a luminescent agent in control experiments and it can be used to control the rate of reaction by controlling the concentration of acid or base added to the reaction mixture.
