Descrizione

Bromobutide is a chemical pesticide that belongs to the class of polymeric matrix pesticides. Bromobutide is a monocarboxylic acid with a hydroxyl group and chlorine atom in its molecular structure. Bromobutide is used as an analytical reagent for the determination of growth regulators such as dihydrotestosterone, testosterone, and progesterone in animal tissues. It has been shown to inhibit lipid biosynthesis by inhibiting fatty acid synthase and acetyl-CoA carboxylase. Bromobutide inhibits lipid biosynthesis by inhibiting fatty acid synthase and acetyl-CoA carboxylase.
