Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5-Bromothiophene-2-boronic acid
- (5-Bromothiophen-2-Yl)Boronic Acid
5-Bromo-2-thiopheneboronic acid is a boronic acid that can be used for cross-coupling reactions. It has inhibitory properties and can be used to synthesize 4-fluorophenylboronic acid, which is an intermediate of the Suzuki reaction. This product may also be used in the synthesis of boronic acids, which are inhibitors of hormone-sensitive lipase. 5-Bromo-2-thiopheneboronic acid is a chloride salt that does not need to be purified before use. The chloride anion can act as a nucleophile in cross coupling reactions with organoboron compounds or organosilanes. 5-Bromo-2-thiopheneboronic acid also has the ability to inhibit lipid enzymes such as lipase and phospholipase A2 through its ability to bind to and inhibit these enzymes' active sites.
