Informazioni sul prodotto
3-Bromoisoquinoline is a brominated quinoline that has been shown to be active against bacteria. It has been found to have antibacterial activity with a broad spectrum of activity, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. 3-Bromoisoquinoline has been shown to have a unique mechanism of action, which involves the generation of an anion radical after reaction with aluminium. This radical then abstracts hydrogen from water molecules, leading to the formation of hydroxide radicals. The hydroxide radicals are responsible for the bactericidal activities of 3-bromoisoquinoline.
The crystal structure of 3-bromoisoquinoline was determined by x-ray crystallography. This molecule is an example of a retractable drug candidate, as it can exist in two different conformations: one conformation is extended while the other is retracted. In solution, it is possible to observe the transition between these two forms by monitoring changes
