4-Bromo-5-methylthiophene-2-boronic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula CHBrOS. It is an aromatic heterocycle and an isomer of 5-bromothiophene-2-boronic acid. The boron atom has three boron substituents, one on each carbon in the ring and one on the sulfur atom. The crystal structure of 4-bromo-5-methylthiophene-2-boronic acid was determined by x ray diffraction and found to have a space group P21/n.
