Descrizione

Bis(2-chloroethyl)amine hydrochloride is a synthetic drug that has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against prostate cancer cells in vitro. It has a coordination geometry of octahedral, with an electron-donating group on one side and an electron-accepting group on the other. This drug inhibits the synthesis of purine nucleotide precursors and also induces apoptosis by inhibiting protein synthesis. Bis(2-chloroethyl)amine hydrochloride can be used to treat cervical cancer and certain cancers of the liver, breast, ovary, and lung. This drug is a potent enzyme inducer that increases levels of cytochrome P450 enzymes in the body.
