Boc-L-valine N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is a versatile and efficient reagent for the synthesis of amides. It is an active ester that can be used to prepare amides from acid chlorides, anhydrides, or carboxylic acids. Boc-L-valine N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is often used in high yielding reactions with hexafluorophosphate as the reagent and tetrafluoroborate as the base. This product has been shown to racemize efficiently under basic conditions.
