4-Benzoyl-L-phenylalanine is a protein that has been shown to interact with the following domains: 4-helical bundle, alpha/beta hydrolase fold, and beta sheet. It interacts with residues: Arg128, Tyr129, Asp130, Gly131, Ser132, Ser133, Arg134 and Trp135. The enzyme activities of 4-benzoyl-L-phenylalanine are inhibited by interactions with 3t3-l1 preadipocytes and neurokinin receptor 1 (NK1). This protein also targets enzymes such as acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and phosphodiesterase (PDE). The peptide sequence for 4-benzoyl-L-phenylalanine is KGKPVPAKDYIKTG.
