Descrizione

2-(Boc-amino)-2-methyl-1-propanol is an alcohol that is used as a coupling agent in organic synthesis. It is efficient and provides high yields for the formation of α-amino acids from corresponding acid chlorides. 2-(Boc-amino)-2-methyl-1-propanol is often used for the synthesis of peptides using solid phase peptide synthesis, where it reacts with a carboxylic acid to form an ester linkage.
