1-Boc-5-aminoindole is a molecule that has been synthesized for the treatment of cancer. It has shown to be an effective ligand for tumor cells and has multifunctional properties, including the ability to act as a photosensitizer and produce reactive oxygen species. 1-Boc-5-aminoindole has been shown to induce apoptosis in tumor cells by generating reactive oxygen species, which leads to cell death. It also inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells. The cytotoxic properties of 1-Boc-5-aminoindole have been demonstrated in vitro and in vivo with various types of tumor cells such as lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and leukemia.
